The left likes to lie that cops are indiscriminately killing blacks every year, but a look at the numbers shows that more people died in bicycle accidents in 2020 than there were blacks killed by cops.
Everywhere you go you see Black Lives Matter liars claiming that cops are killing blacks all over the country. If you were to listen to these liars, you’d think that cops are shooting blacks every week if not every day.
But a look at the numbers shows a truth that Black Lives Matter does not want you to know.
A group that hopes to raise awareness about bicycle safety took the time to gather up as many of the reports of the death of cyclists as they could find for the year 2020. In 2020 this project found that 697 cyclists died in accidents during the lamentable year of 2020.
They also found that in previous years, cyclist deaths counted as high as 857. But the group also noted that the numbers are probably higher because there really is no foolproof way to gather the full numbers. It’s all very bad, granted. No one wants any bicyclist to die on America’s roads.
But, lamentable as it is, if this number is compared to the number of blacks killed by cops, something shocking is revealed.
It turns out bicycles are more dangerous than cops.
According to Statista.com, only 226 blacks were killed by cops in 2020. Again, we don’t want to see anyone die, granted, but 226 killed by cops is a bit less than 697 people being killed on bikes!
When you consider that cops deal in life and death situations every day, over 300 million times a year, it looks like bikes are many hundreds of times more dangerous than cops!
This sure isn’t anything that Black Lives Matter want you to know, is it?
