The left’s favorite COVID fanatic, Dr. Anthony Fauci, has now admitted to knowingly lying about the virus crisis because he didn’t think America was “ready” to hear the truth.
Fauci has been steadily increasing the number of Americans that need to be vaccinated to reach “herd immunity,” and now says he purposefully under reported the number earlier.
The left’s “science” expert reportedly told the New York Times that he undersold the numbers on purpose “partly based on new science, and partly on his gut feeling that the country is finally ready to hear what he really thinks.”
Months ago, Fauci said the U.S. would need 60 to 70 percent of the population to be vaccinated to reach herd immunity. Then, just last week, he cited higher numbers of 75 to 80-plus percent in a CNBC interview. This disparity brought the Times to wonder why Fauci has been “moving the goal posts.”
Dr Fauci’s estimate for reaching herd immunity has been steadily inching up, @nytimes’ Donald McNeil Jr reports. Fauci told us at last week’s @CNBC #HealthyReturns that it may be 75-85%. https://t.co/j18nUYZ3cV pic.twitter.com/hIKewMAFim

And now, Fauci is claiming that 90 percent of the population needs to be vaccinated to reach that “heard immunity” goal.
Fauci admitted to the Times that weeks ago he wanted to keep the estimates low because he worried that Americans were skeptical about taking the vaccine.
However, he says that as more Americans have become comfortable with the idea of getting vaccinated for the coronavirus, he is increasing his estimate to the number he assumed it to be all along.
In other words, he lied on purpose.
Now we have to wonder… what else did he lie about… you know, for our own good?
