D.C.’s Disappearing Middle Class: Single-Family Homes Now Topping $1 Million Bucks

Once again, we see that Washington D.C. is NOT representative of America, when a single-family home now costs one million dollars in the swamp.

Real, average Americans can’t afford to live in Washington D.C. with home prices like this.

According to WTOP News:

Listing service Bright MLS reports the number of homes in the D.C. region that sold for $600,000 to $799,000 was up 38.1% from a year ago. Homes in the price range of $800,000 to just under $1 million price gained 56.9%

The median price for a single-family home that sold last month in the District crossed the $1 million level for the first time ever, at $1.1 million. That’s up 24.2% from a year ago. In D.C.’s Palisades neighborhood, detached homes sold for a median price of $2.1 million.

This is all proof that regular Americans can’t and don’t live in D.C.

So, is it any wonder that D.C. is filled with elitists who don’t understand Americans?

This is why these people running our government — both elected and in civil service — do things that hurt Americans. They have no touch with Americans. They are elitists who don’t know America.
