Campus Reform’s Cabot Phillips recently paid students at Florida International University a visit where he asked them about socialism, which they absolutely adored — until they realized the kind of impact it would have on them personally.
Yeah. That seems to be the part that the leftist professors who indoctrinate these poor, mushy brained products of the public education system conveniently leave out.
When Phillips asked the students how they’d like to “share” their GPAs and “spread the wealth” with students attaining lower grades — à la socialism — they balked.
Some of these responses are priceless. Check these out:
“I’m all for helping; I wouldn’t give some of my [GPA] points. … I’ve lost a lot of sleep, I don’t know if I would be fair.”
“I guess it would be kind of, like, hypocritical for me to say ‘no.'”
“That’s completely different. I’m studying all day for my grade.”
“No, straight up. … I feel like the difference is, uh, you study for your grades.”
“I sacrifice a lot to get my GPA … so, no, I wouldn’t sacrifice my own things.”
My, my, my. Would you take a look at that. A bunch of closeted capitalists and they didn’t even know it. Notice how the notion of sharing GPA points didn’t seem “fair” to them?
That’s because it’s a law passed down by our Creator, hardwired into our DNA, that what you work for is yours and yours alone. Socialism attempts to bypass this universal law of reality and it fails every time. You can’t go against the design God created without disastrous results.
Maybe now these kids will think a bit more critically before swallowing whatever nonsense the professor feeds them.
