What This Marine Does For His Mom Is The Perfect Pre-Christmas Surprise

Santa Claus came early for a mom in Tennessee when she got the surprise of her life courtesy of her Marine son returning home for the holidays.

As you’ve probably already guessed, there’s a video of the encounter and it’s guaranteed to put a smile on your face and get you in the Christmas spirit.

In a video that will surely put a smile on your face, Ethan Wilson sneaked up behind his mom, Christy, tapped her on the shoulder during a holiday party.

The jubilant mom screamed and immediately wrapped her arms around her son, crying tears of joy.

According to WCYB-TV, Ethan Wilson left his Mt. Juliet home for Marine training in September in Pensacola, Florida, and had not seen his mom since.

Ethan’s twin brother, Eli, also serves in the Marines but could not travel home for Christmas.

“I cannot imagine going that long without seeing my child,” remarked anchor and mom Ainsley Earhardt.

If that doesn’t just put you in the mood for Christmas, nothing probably will. This is a great story and reminder to think of our men and women in the military this holiday season who are serving overseas and won’t be home with their families for Christmas.

Our troops sacrifice so much for this country, all to protect our rights and freedoms that we take for granted almost every day. Say a little prayer for those not with family this time of year.
