A number of liberal mainstream media networks found an anti-Trump biased poll and then slaps that across their headlines as part of their crusade to smear President Donald Trump. An example was a headline run by The Washington Post on Saturday that read:
“Poll: 60 percent disapprove of Trump, while clear majorities back Mueller and Sessions”
The first paragraph of The Washington Post article, reads:
“President Trump’s disapproval rating has hit a high point of 60 percent, according to a new Washington Post-ABC News poll that also finds that clear majorities of Americans support the special counsel’s Russia investigation and say the president should not fire Attorney General Jeff Sessions.”
Yet, on Friday, Rasmussen Reports posted:
take our poll - story continues below
“The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows that 48% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Fifty percent (50%) disapprove.”
When it comes to political polls, the difference between 60% and 50% is a lot bigger than the numbers indicate.
One has to consider that many polls taken by liberal Democrats biased media are conducted in and around larger cities and they do that for a reason. Take a look at the last few presidential election results maps. Many of the blue areas those same larger cities, whereas the red areas cover the majority of the United States land mass.
Most larger cities are predominately Democrat and quite liberal, whereas much of rural America is more conservative and therefore Republican.
Knowing this truth about political demographics, it should not surprise you to see some of the other results from the same Washington Post/ABC News Poll.
“Do you approve or disapprove of the way Trump is handling the economy? Do you approve/disapprove strongly or somewhat?”
Forty-seven disapproved and 45% approved. This issue is an important political campaign issue in this year’s midterm elections as Democrats want to revoke the tax cuts given to corporations. They try to sell their issue to a gullible public by saying the corporate tax cuts only help the wealthy. What they aren’t telling the gullible public is that many corporations are using those cuts to hire more people, give raises and bonuses and pay a higher wage. Take away the corporate tax cuts and you take away the jobs, bonuses, pay raises and higher wages.
Another indicator of the biased demographics used in the WAPO/ABC poll is the results to the third question:
“Since Trump took office, do you think the amount of corruption in Washington has (increased), (decreased) or stayed about the same?”
Forty-five percent say the corruption has increased, 39% said about the same and on 13% decreased. Consider the amount of corruption that has been revealed that took place during the Obama administration while no evidence of corruption has yet been revealed against the Trump Administration.
The same poll asked if people thought Trump has tried to interfere with Mueller’s investigation and 53% said yes compared to only 35% said no. Answer me this – has Trump yet used executive privilege for himself or anyone associated with him? NO!
When Congress tried to investigate the botched Operation Fast and Furious, Obama used executive privilege to protect the Attorney General Eric Holder and to prevent the members of Congress of obtaining many of the documents they sought. A judge later rejected Obama’s executive privilege to hide the documents, but Holder still hid behind it. Obama also used executive privilege to prevent his speech writer Ben Rhodes from testifying before Congress about the Iran nuclear deal.
Another consideration is that Trump never hid his birth certificate or any of his education and background whereas Obama did. So, which is the most corrupt administration, just based upon the facts?
The facts clearly show that the WAPO/ABC polls was very biased from the onset and most likely taken mostly in and around larger metropolitan areas, which will usually give one the anti-Trump results they sought from the beginning.
Don’t forget that many of these liberally biased polls predicted Hillary Clinton would soundly defeat Donald Trump.
