DOJ Scraps Obama’s PC Term for Illegal Aliens

Politically correct terminology is nothing more than a means of de-sensitizing the people into accepting something they otherwise wouldn’t accept or to appease some of the overly sensitive whiners in our nation.

The classic example I use a lot is the term ‘social justice’. This is the politically correct term for socialism, a concept that most Americans would never accept, but hey, who doesn’t want social justice?

In his attempt to make illegal aliens seem like just poor misfortunate folks, Obama forced his administration to stop using the term illegal alien and instead, use undocumented immigrant.

AG Jeff Sessions just handed down an order to drop the undocumented immigrant and replace it with illegal alien, the proper term to more accurately describe what they really are.

(Sparta Report) – Attorney General Jeff Sessions has instructed that the term “undocumented immigrant” not be used to refer to someone in the country illegally and that they should be referred using the legal term under US code “illegal alien.”

“The word ‘undocumented’ is not based in US code and should not be used to describe someone’s illegal presence in the country,” the email states.

An immigrant who is in the US legally or whose status is unknown is to be described by their country of citizenship, it adds.

US citizens or green card holders are referred to as a “resident” of the state or city where they live, and the guidance says if their citizenship or status can be referenced if it is part of the factual record of the case. The issue of how to describe people in the US illegally has long been a subject of heated debate…

I recently had a discourse with a Democrat who got upset with my use of the term illegal alien. She told me that most of them are law-abiding people and I instantly asked her if they entered the US legally through normal channels of application with the US government. She said no, and I said that makes them illegal, just as if you run a stop sign, you violated the law, they ran the border and thus violated federal law. When she realized I had totally destroyed her argument, she ended the conversation.
