If you have worked hard and own your home or even if you are still paying a mortgage, one Democratic Senator wants you to help pay the rent for others.
This is just one aspect of the socialist policy of redistribution or sharing of wealth. The redistribution of wealth is the socialist way of stealing from hard working people and those who are wealthy but not part of the elite and then giving PART of it to the lower class, while keeping the majority for the government.
In many socialist societies, there are not three classes of people. Instead of having a lower, middle and upper class, socialist societies usually have an elite class and then the working class, which in reality are slaves of the elite who control the government.
Socialists tend to win over the people by promising them many free things in life or like this senator, having others help pay for your rent. Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez are traveling the country, promising voters that if Democrats gain control of Congress and eventually the White House, that they will provide free Medicare for all, free college tuition for all and mandatory minimum wage of $15 per hour.
What voters fail to understand is that nothing is free and the only way to pay for free Medicare and college tuition for all is to triple federal taxes – a common ploy used by socialists all over the world. They dupe the working class to fall for their promises and then the working class finds out too late what they bought into.
Another thing many American voters fail to understand is that the Democratic Party is really nothing more than a socialist party and one of their newer socialist champions is promoting another socialist policy.
Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) is proposing that most Americans help pay the high rent of others. She says that people who pay 30% or more of their income on rent should receive help on those payments from those of us who own homes. Last week, Harris tweeted:
“Nationally, over 21M Americans spend more than 30% of their paychecks on rent. That’s absurd.”
“I introduced the #RentReliefAct to help ease the burden. This equals more money in people’s pockets at the end of the year.”
Her Rent Relief Act states that for anyone earning less than $100,000 a year who pays at least 30% of their income on rent (including utilities), would receive a tax credit at the end of the year. There is a caveat to the act that states that those people living in areas that are more expensive can make up to $125,000 a year and still receive the tax credit at the end of the year.
It’s estimated that up to 80% of American tax payers will end up paying more taxes to help pay the renters’ tax credit. I didn’t see anything in the act about homeowners who pay 30% or more of their income on their mortgages getting any help or exempting them from having to pay to help renters.
Harris is from the San Francisco area, which is a very expensive place to live, so naturally, she wants to help those in her own area, but it’s at the expense of the rest of America.
Harris has a net worth of least $2 million, so I wonder how much of her wealth she would be willing to give to help pay the rent of others?
