A year ago, yesterday, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein appointed former FBI Director Robert Mueller to serve as Special Counsel to investigate Russian interference with the 2016 elections and any possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.

Mueller has inducted several Trump associates for crimes un-related to the initial task of collusion with Russia to influence the election. Mueller has also indicted some Russians and Russian businesses on various charges.

Facebook was brought into the fray when they revealed that Russians had paid for numerous political ads on their social media site. Then it was further revealed that a British company mined the information of thousands of Facebook users and offered that information to the Trump campaign. There is still some contradiction about whether or not the Trump campaign actually received that information.

The House Intelligence Committee conducted their own investigation and reported that there was NO evidence any collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia but earlier this week, a Senate committee reported that they had evidence that Russia, under the orders of Vladimir Putin did intentionally try to influence the election in favor of Donald Trump.

For the past year, President Trump has continued to deny any collusion with Russia and he has repeatedly referred to Mueller’s investigation as a witch hunt. Many who believe Trump, say that if Mueller did have evidence against Trump that he would have made it known by now but since he hasn’t, then there is no evidence.

However, Trump also adamantly denied paying Stormy Daniels to keep quiet about an alleged affair that supposedly took place over a decade. Then we learned that one of Trump’s personal attorneys, Michael Cohen did pay Daniels to keep quiet but Trump denied any knowledge of the payment and denied paying Cohen back. However, due to the loose lips of the newest member of Trump’s legal team, former federal prosecutor and New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, we now know that Trump did pay Cohen back for the Daniels’ hush money payment.

Some are claiming that since Trump had not disclosed that payment last year, that he has violated campaign laws but what about Barack Obama who NEVER submitting a genuine birth certificate proving he was legally eligible to run for the White House? Democrats are once again excited about finding something they believe they can use to dethrone Trump.

Some are also claiming that Mueller and his team are preparing their final effort to go after Trump. At the same time, Giuliani has announced that Trump’s team of lawyers are prepared to rip apart Mueller and his team and any damaging report they file against Trump.

Appearing on The Ingraham Angle on Fox News, the revelation went as follows:

Ingraham: Timeline, what is your optimal timeline for this to wrap up?

Rudy: They should do it today. I mean as soon as possible. I think that they have the facts from which they can write their report.

If you can write a fair report fine, then write it.

If you’re gonna write an unfair report, write it and we will combat it.  We’re ready to rip it apart.

And we’re ready to rip them apart if that’s what they want.  We’d rather peacefully settle this and get it over with.

It appears that both Team Trump and Team Mueller are preparing for the final round. Will there be a knockout? If so, who will be left lying on the mat, Trump or Mueller?
