Famous Actor Apologizes After Sexual Harassment Allegations

Morgan Freeman has had a long career in movies which started with roles in the soap opera Another World and a children’s program The Electric Company. The 80-year-old actor has won a couple Academy Awards and a number of Academy Awards nominations. His movies have grossed over $4 billion at the box offices.

This week, Freeman found himself faced with sexual harassment allegations made by at least 8 women, who claim he has made inappropriate comments about the way they were dresses and that he touched them in appropriately.

While not denying the allegations, Freeman just apologized for making others feel uncomfortable, which really is an insult to those he harassed and touched.

(Fox News) – Morgan Freeman issued an apology to “anyone who felt uncomfortable or disrespected” following an explosive report containing claims of sexual harassment from eight women.

The veteran actor told The Hollywood Reporter on Thursday, “Anyone who knows me or has worked with me knows I am not someone who would intentionally offend or knowingly make anyone feel uneasy. I apologize to anyone who felt uncomfortable or disrespected — that was never my intent.”

Eight women told CNN on Thursday that Freeman made suggestive comments about their appearance and inappropriately touched them.

A rep for Freeman, 80, did not immediately return Fox News’ request for comment.,,

Freeman was an outspoken supporter of Barack Obama and many Democrats which is probably why the mainstream media is not making as much of a big deal over the allegations against as they have with others. The question now is whether he will be forgiven after his hollow and placating apology or will he be held accountable for his actions?
