To be honest, President Donald Trump ticks off Democrats simply by breathing and living, let alone any of his many conservative actions and statements. He ticked them off when he won the election, when he nominated Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court, when he increased defense spending, when he fired James Comey, when he pushed for tax reform and she stood up to North Korea’s Kim Jong-un.

In his latest endeavor, Trump pardoned Lewis ‘Scooter’ Libby. Libby was Vice President Dick Cheney’s Chief of Staff who was wrongly convicted for lying to the FBI and obstructing justice in the case concerning former CIA agent Valerie Plame.

(Constitution.com) – One of the worst things that backstabbing President George W. Bush did during his eight years in the White House was to turn his back on Lewis “Scooter” Libby during the fake investigation into the outing of a CIA agent. Liberals loved Bush’s perfidy, mind you, but it was really a low from Bush. But now, it looks like President Donald Trump is about to revisit Bush’s mistake and right that wrong by pardoning Libby.

According to The Hill newspaper:

President Trump is expected to pardon Scooter Libby, the former chief of staff to then-Vice President Dick Cheney, ABC News reported Thursday.

The president has reportedly already signed off on the pardon for Libby, who was convicted in 2007 for lying to the FBI and obstructing justice in the investigation into who leaked the identity of ex-CIA agent Valerie Plame…

Many conservatives believe that President George W. Bush should have pardoned Libby and no one ever expected Obama to issue him a pardon, but many conservatives are overjoyed that Trump has righted a wrong that should have been righted years ago. However, righting a wrong is the perfect thing to tick off Trump-hating liberals.
