A conservative source that likes to dig deep into many political events and issues is claiming that the Obama DOJ and FBI were using a leftwing research group – Fusion GPS – to launder and scrub intelligence. They would provide the raw intelligence to Fusion GPS who would then go through it and ‘sanitize’ it before returning it to DOJ and FBI.
The source claims that the infamous Trump dossier was one of those information laundering projects that somehow went awry and President Trump’s personal attorney Michael Cohen may have had evidence of the information laundering scheme and that the raid on Cohen’s office, apartment and hotel were an attempt by the FBI & DOJ to hide the damaging information.
(Constitution.com) – The Last Refuge is a web-based journalist with a penchant for deep-diving on stories that are generally ignored by the mainstream media.
For example, The Last Refuge was the first journalist to strip down the shooting at Doulgas High School, and expose how the shooting was actually a failure of leftwing Broward County School policies. The Last Refuge generally writes at the Conservative Treehouse, but every now and then he gets his thoughts down on Twitter first, revealing what he’s seeing in the news and tying stories together.
He did just that with the recent story about the possibility that President Trump’s lawyer Michael Cohen had lied and had visited Prague in 2016.
What the Last Refuge argues is that this story doesn’t prove Cohen did something wrong, but instead proves that the FBI and the DOJ were using a leftwing research firm, FusionGPS, to launder illegal intelligence and give it back to them in a sanitized form…
The raid on Cohen’s legal files is a clear violation of law which makes one suspect that something major had to precipitate the raid, since anything gathered is likely to be challenged as being inadmissible due to attorney – client privilege, which was clearly violated in the search and seizure of Trump’s personal attorney’s emails and documents.
