Former FBI Director James Comey is releasing his new book where he supposedly is telling everything. He has launched a nationwide speaking tour to promote his book along with trying to convince the American people that he was wrongly fired by President Donald Trump.

Comey has unleashed a barrage of criticisms against Trump, the latest of which is saying that Donald Trump is not morally fit to be President of the United States.

The mainstream media is eating up Comey’s comments and treating him as if he is telling the truth, the whole truth so help him God. It seems most of the media hail Comey as a hero.

What the mainstream media is not telling the American people is that Comey has already been caught telling a number of lies. He knowingly allowed his Deputy Director Andrew McCabe (now EX-Deputy Director) to handle the Clinton email investigation, knowing that it was a conflict of interest due to McCabe’s wife receiving hundreds of thousands of dollars in campaign contributions from supporters of Hillary Clinton. It was also revealed that Comey was keeping Barack Obama informed on a regular basis of not only the Clinton email investigation but also of the internal FBI anti-Trump efforts to undermine the Trump campaign and then the Trump presidency. Comey also intentionally leaked sensitive information to the media, which he first denied doing until it was proven.

Naturally, Trump fired back at Comey, saying that he is a slippery slime ball, among other things. Trump also said that Comey is the worst FBI Director the country has ever had.

Other conservatives contend that James Comey should be prosecuted for lying, obstructing justice and leaking sensitive information to the media.

So, who is winning the publicity war – Comey and media or Trump?

How do the American people feel about James Comey? Do they think he is telling the truth or lying? Should he be on the road promoting his book or should he be in jail?

If you were asked the following 2 questions, how would you respond. Take a moment to think about your answer before reading on.

1* Looking back, was James Comey a better or worse FBI director than most of those who held the job before him? Or was his performance about the same?

2* Should Comey be prosecuted for leaking information to the media at the time he was director of the FBI?

As for the first question, only 14% of likely voters said that Comey was a better FBI director than others. Thirty-five percent say is about the same as previous FBI directors and 38% said he is worse. One of the interesting things the survey revealed that among voters who strongly disapprove of the job Trump is doing, only 21% said Comey was better FBI director than others. To no surprise, of those who strongly approve of the job Trump is doing, 69% said Comey was worse than other FBI directors.

In June of 2017, voters were asked if Comey should be prosecuted for leaking information to the media and 41% said yes, he should be prosecuted and 47% said he should not be prosecuted. In the latest survey, 46% now say he should be prosecuted and only 34% say he should not be prosecuted, indicating that while Trump’s popularity and approval figures are increasing, Comey’s are falling.

Personally, James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, Hillary Clinton, Loretta Lynch, Eric Holder and Barack Obama should all be prosecuted for the crimes they committed.
