Democrats in congress are eager and ready for President Donald Trump to fire Special Counsel Robert Mueller and/or Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein so they can launch impeachment proceedings on the grounds of obstruction of justice.

Conservative commentator Ann Coulter contends that the raid on the home, office and apartment of Michael Cohen, President Trump’s personal attorney, was nothing more than an attempt to bait Trump into firing one or both of the men just so Democrats could try to impeach him. She also contends that since Mueller has not found a smoking gun concerning a Trump – Russia connection as was the original intent of the investigation, that Rosenstein has allowed the Mueller investigation to move beyond its original purpose and into other unrelated matters.

(Fox Insider) – Conservative author and attorney Ann Coulter said special counsel Robert Mueller was “trying to get himself fired” by overseeing the office of Trump lawyer Michael Cohen being raided by federal agents.

Coulter said on “Lou Dobbs Tonight” that the probe into alleged collusion between President Trump and Russia has morphed into probe into the president’s alleged one-night-stand with pornographic film actress Stormy Daniels.

She said that fact “proves there’s no Russian collusion” and that Mueller has no case for such.

What Rosenstein did do in allowing the raid on Cohen was to totally destroy the attorney – client privilege that has existed for many years. One would think that the raid could be legally challenged as violating the attorney – client privilege. Anything in Cohen’s records or emails should fall under such protection, so the confiscation of these items is clear constitutional violation.
