Gun rights versus gun control is perhaps the hottest political topic at this time. We’re all familiar with many of the arguments presented by both sides.

Gun control fanatics are using the school shooting in Florida to help push their agenda to disarm the American people. They continue to use teens who have been taught by a socialist public-school system and brainwashed to be anti-gun, anti-conservative and anti-America, to push for more gun control laws.

Sadly, in some places, not only are Democrats introducing gun control bills but a growing number of weak principled Republicans have been joining them. They are pushing bills to ban bump-fire stocks, raise the minimum age for purchasing a gun, bans on assault-style semiautomatic weapons, high capacity magazines and bills to allow for the confiscation of firearms from anyone suspected of being a danger to themselves or others, even if there is no danger.

In other locations of the nation, conservatives who understand the issue are protecting gun rights like the city council of Alamo Heights, Texas. They just voted unanimously to repeal an existing ordinance that forbid citizens from openly carrying loaded rifles and shotguns in public.

The media would have everyone believe that the vast majority of the American people now favor more gun control laws, but their polls are generally only conducted in within larger metropolitan areas that are predominantly Democratic.

They can’t explain why in many parts of the country, applications for concealed carry permits have increased by 100% or more since the Florida school shooting. Additionally, some of the training centers who conduct classes to help people qualify for concealed carry permits have seen their enrollments and requests jump by as much as 250%.

The media is also quick to share the anti-gun beliefs of some law enforcement officials and they present the stories as if every law enforcement official feels the same way but you won’t see most of the liberal mainstream media showing Harris County Sheriff Mike Jolley and the stand he has taken on the issue of guns and crime in his county.

Harris County is located on the eastern border adjacent to Alabama. County Sheriff Mike Jolley became a sensation back in 2015 with his bold pro-gun signage which he paid for out of his own pocket. That sign read:

“WARNING: Harris County is politically incorrect. We say: Merry Christmas, God Bless America and In God We Trust. We salute our troops and our flag. If this offends you…LEAVE!”

Sheriff Jolley has a new sign that gives an even stronger message. It reads:

“Our citizens have concealed weapons. If you kill someone, we might kill you back. We have ONE jail and 356 cemeteries. Enjoy you stay! Sheriff Mike Jolley.”

Photos of Jolley’s signs are going viral on the internet, thanks largely to conservatives, but to no surprise, there are those liberals who not only disagree with Jolley’s sign and stance, but say they are offended by it. Jolley’s response to that is:

“I spent 20 years in the army to give everyone the right to disagree with me or anyone else. Hopefully, if they disagree, they can voice that opinion. But if it offends them, truly offends them, maybe they’re in the wrong country.”

If more county sheriffs were like Jolley and more citizens were allowed to legally conceal carry weapons for self-protection, there would be a lot less crime in America and fewer mass shootings. The problem is that liberals refuse to acknowledge that fact they control most of the mainstream media.

America definitely needs more sheriffs like Mike Jolley of Georgia!
