As the liberal anti-American left has grown in power and voice, large sectors of the media have left the world of true journalism to become their propaganda mouthpieces. At the same time, some social media giants have also joined the ultra-liberal propaganda bandwagon, but in a different way. They don’t report fake news, all negative news or twist the good news to bad, they just censor the good news while freely allowing the bad news to dominate their pages.
Such has been the case with Facebook and the social media giant has been drawing a lot of attention and criticism for their overt censorship of conservatives and Christians.
In a move that seems to an attempt to placate their growing number of critics, Facebook has announced another new policy, but when you read what is being stated, it’s just hollow gesture that will accomplish little.
(Breitbart) – Facebook Head of News Product Alex Hardiman expressed the company’s plans to “redefine its relationship” with news publishers in an effort to “minimize the bad” and “promote quality” during a panel at the South by Southwest film festival.
CNN reports that during a panel discussion at the South by Southwest film festival, Facebook’s head of news product, Alex Hardiman, stated that the social media platform was working on “redefining its relationship” with news publishers. Hardiman stated that the company was working on developing products for the platform that would benefit news publishers and promote accurate journalism. “As we are making the shift to quality, everything is on the table,” Hardiman said. “We’re having active conversations with a lot publishers, academics, and experts in the space.”
Hardiman stated that Facebook aims to “minimize the bad” and “promote quality” on the social media platform’s news feed. CNN’s Brian Stelter surprisingly criticized the platform telling Hardiman that at times it felt like Facebook failed to understand how the news business works and suggested that Facebook consider paying publishers directly for their journalism…
You have to understand that Facebook already defines most conservative and Christian posts as ‘bad’, so when they say they are going to minimize the bad, they may just be referring to what most of us would call good and wholesome, meaning that they are planning on clamping down even more on conservative posts as we enter into the 2018 midterm election season.
