Democrats are already blasting the House Intelligence Committee for their announcement that they found no collusion between Donald Trump, his campaign and Russia. They claim that the announcement was politically motivated because the committee is composed of a majority of Republicans. Critics forget that there were Republicans on the committee that called for the investigation and who said that if there was any collusion between Trump and Russia, that intended to hold him accountable.
Reports say that the Senate Intelligence Committee may soon be announcing that they also have found no evidence of any election collusion between Trump and Russia.
(WBUR) – House intelligence committee Republicans on Monday cleared President Trump’s campaign of colluding with the Russians who attacked the 2016 U.S. election, concluding a probe that minority Democrats had long argued was focused on appeasing the White House.
The intelligence committee’s findings do not end the Russia imbroglio — the Senate intelligence committee and Justice Department special counsel Robert Mueller are continuing their work — but they provide a political shot in the arm for Trump. The president touted the findings on Twitter later Monday night.
THE HOUSE INTELLIGENCE COMMITTEE HAS, AFTER A 14 MONTH LONG IN-DEPTH INVESTIGATION, FOUND NO EVIDENCE OF COLLUSION OR COORDINATION BETWEEN THE TRUMP CAMPAIGN AND RUSSIA TO INFLUENCE THE 2016 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION.
People need to remember that the whole Trump and Russia collusion conspiracy arose AFTER Trump won the election and AFTER months of inaction by the Obama administration after they knew about efforts by Russia to meddle in the election, and that the entire conspiracy arose from the fake Trump dossier that was paid for by Democrats and prepared by a firm with Russian ties.
