Take a moment to stand back and take a good hard look at America today. What do you see?

Homosexual activists push for special rights and privileges and finally obtained the right to marry. Racial division and hatred is ripping America apart. Mass shootings are becoming too common place. Congress has become nothing more than a daycare center for a bunch of adult spoiled brats who carry on when they don’t get their way. Christian business owners are under attack by LGBT activists. Christians are being attacked where they work and where they worship. Students throughout America fear going to school every day, not knowing if they will be bullied, assaulted, molested or shot.

There is no doubt that America has turned away and abandoned its Christian background and foundation. The mainstream media pushes anti-biblical ideology every chance they get. Half the nation belongs to a political party that intentionally rebels against God, the Bible and Christianity.

Even a large number of so-called Christian churches have abandoned biblical teaching in order to conform more to the ways of the anti-God secular world. They have turned to entertainment and tickling the ears of their people in order to fill the pews and their treasuries. The number of churches that see nothing wrong with same-sex marriages and homosexuality are increasing, just as fast as America races down the broad road to destruction.

Read Matthew 7:13:

“Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many.”

Consider a few facts:

There are 7.6 billion people in the world and nearly 326 million people in America.

There about 1.8 billion Muslims in the world.

There are about 1 billion Hindus in the world.

There are about 500 million Buddhists in the world.

There are about 1.1 billion people who claim to religion at all.

There are about 800 million Eastern Orthodox, Mormons, Jews and other religions.

This adds up to 5.2 billion people (68,4% of the world population) who do not identify themselves as Christians.

There are about 2.3 billion people in the world who do identify themselves as Christians, including about 1.27 billion Catholics. Reviewing many surveys and studies over the past few years, it is probably safe to say that over half of the 2.3 billion are NOT true Christians as defined by Scripture and the lifestyle commanded by Jesus, meaning that of the 7.6 billion people in the world, at least 83.5% are traveling down the broad path to destruction as described by Jesus in Matthew 7:13.

In today’s America, Christians are constantly put on the defensive for being an exclusive religion that does not tolerate others like homosexuals, Muslims, etc. How many times have you heard someone say that Christians and their doctrines need to change with the times? Sadly, far too many have listened to those demands and have given in to them.

My answer to that rests on these facts:

When God judged the world with a worldwide flood, only 8 people remained true to God and were saved on the Ark, but many, probably millions, were destroyed.

When God judged Sodom and Gomorrah and destroyed both cities, only three people were saved while everyone else the cities were destroyed.

When God judged the Hebrew people, who fled captivity in Egypt during the Exodus, only two people remained faithful to God and they alone, of those who fled, entered the Promised Land. But the rest, over 2 million, were destroyed.

Time and again, in biblical history, only a few faithful and righteous people survived different judgments while the vast majority were destroyed.

Reflect on America as I asked at the beginning and realize that our nation is rushing down that broad path to destruction. Ask yourself, if you want to travel down the easy broad path and enter the wide gate that leads to ETERNAL destruction or do you want to travel down the narrow path and enter the narrow gate that leads to ETERNAL life? Since you never know when your time will come, the time to make the decision is now, or it may be never. To help you with that decision, here is a place to help you understand THE most important decision you will ever make.
