I understand that the First Amendment guarantees the right of free speech and the right to protest to the government, but what happened at Hurricane High School in Utah goes beyond the First Amendment. Someone or someones, took down the American flag, shredded and desecrated it and then raised a flag that resembled an ISIS flag. Authorities also found ISIS graffiti on a nearby wall.

Since ISIS is an enemy that United States is currently fighting in the Middle East, then what happened in Utah should be treated as an act of treason and all effort needs to be made to discovered who was responsible and then prosecute them for committing treason.

(Washington Post) – As territory for the Islamic State shrinks to ribbons around the Euphrates River in Syria, the militant group has repositioned itself in western Africa, Yemen and southwestern Utah.

Wait, back up. Where?

Officers in Hurricane, Utah, said Thursday that an American flag was ripped from a flagpole, desecrated, slashed and replaced with something resembling the notorious black ISIS banner. Authorities also discovered a truncated message scrawled on a wall: “ISIS IS COMI.”

Police said that they referred the criminal act to the FBI, which concluded the incident was probably not connected to anyone in the terrorist group.

Classes at Hurricane High School were held as scheduled Thursday and are expected to continue Friday, with police in the St. George suburb saying they are confident there is no danger to students or teachers…

The incident at Hurricane High School is believed to have occurred early Thursday morning. The school is assigning a resource officer to be on the campus and local police are planning on beefing up patrols of the area they investigate the incident. Hopefully, they’ll find the traitors who committed the act of treason. I’m sure there are plenty of patriotic Americans who would gladly volunteer to be a member of the firing squad if the traitors are found and convicted.
