Pelosi’s Offensive ‘Five White Guys’ Comment

Have you ever noticed that being a racist or saying offensive things is acceptable for liberals but not acceptable from conservatives? A black American can say very racist things about white Americans and it’s not racist, but let a white person say anything about black Americans and it’s racist.

Then there are those liberals who try to turn everything into a racial issue even when that’s not the case. For example, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi just referred to the group of politicians working on what to do with DACA recipients as ‘five white guys’, making it an issue of race.

Rep. Steny Hoyer (D-MD) is House Whip and was one of the bipartisan group working on the DACA deal, and he says that Pelosi’s comment is offensive, although she doesn’t see anything wrong it.

(The Hill) –  Democratic Whip Steny Hoyer (Md.) on Thursday blasted Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi’s (D-Calif.) remarks about white men working on an immigration agreement as “offensive.”

“The five white guys I call them, you know,” Pelosi said, referring to five bipartisan lawmakers, including Hoyer, leading efforts to salvage the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. All five of the male lawmakers are white.

“Are they going to open a hamburger stand next or what?” she said, referring to the popular fast food restaurant “Five Guys.”

Hoyer pushed back against the remarks…

First Pelosi complains that Republicans don’t work with Democrats on any legislation and then when they do, she makes it an issue of race. The bottom line is that Pelosi is a senile old lady that complains about everything and everything these days, which is why some younger Democrats are trying to distance themselves from her.
