Last Sunday night, the entertainment world held their annual Golden Globes awards ceremony. The winners of the many awards took second stage to the many women who used the gala affair to make a statement that they were joining forces to put an end to the sexual harassment that has been rampant and common place in the entertainment world. They said they didn’t want any other woman to have stand up and say ‘me too’.

On Monday, the mainstream media made a huge deal out of the statement made by Oprah Winfrey. She not only spoke about the ‘me too’ movement in the entertainment world but also the business and political worlds and even spoke about how it could influence voters in 2020, sparking the media to begin rumors that Oprah is planning on running for the White House.

(BuzzFeed News) – When Donald Trump was elected in the fall of 2016, some analysts saw the end of normal politics and the rise of a new wave of celebrity candidates.

“Voters have demonstrated their thirst for the Big Gulp, an outsize figure who can provide a sugary rush not normally found in politics,” Ben Terris wrote in Washington Post story featuring The Rock, Curt Schilling, George Clooney, and Angelina Jolie.

“A new day is on the horizon,” she announced to roaring applause. Was it the beginning of a presidential campaign? Her longtime partner, Stedman Graham, told the L.A. Times “she would absolutely do it.” …

If you thought Barack Obama was a horrible leader and how scary the thought of Hillary Clinton being president was, the thought of Oprah in the White House is downright frightening. Obama supported black and LGBT activism, but Oprah supports black, LGBT and feminist activism and will continue to promote and push everything that is already destroying America.
