GOP Caucus Demanding Vote on Immigration-Border Bill in Hopes of Averting Shutdown

Once again, the government is facing a financial shutdown unless Congress can pass another spending bill. Due to the constant partisan war in Congress, the best they’ve been able to do is pass short-term spending bills that need to be revisited every month or so.
