For the past few months, everyone has been focused on the Special Counsel investigation into Russian interference begin conducted by Robert Mueller. Some have also been watching the congressional investigations in the allegations of Russian interference and also into the Uranium One deal and other questionable practices of Hillary Clinton and Democratic National Committee.
While all eyes were looking in those direction, the Inspector General’s office has been conducting their own investigation in how the FBI and DOJ handled their investigations in the Hillary Clinton email scandal. This investigation has been underway for the past year and there are indications that they may be about to give their report and when they do, some are predicting some explosive bombshells will be dropped, doing some damage to those not expecting it.
(Fox News) – Robert Mueller’s special counsel probe gets most the publicity these days, but another investigation involving the 2016 election is wrapping up soon and could be just as explosive.
For the last 12 months, the inspector general of the Department of Justice has been conducting a review of the FBI and DOJ’s actions related to the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server while she was secretary of state.
A final report on the investigation is expected within several months. But in the coming days, the Department of Justice is also expected to provide Congress with “many, many more” records related to the review, according to the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee…
The IG report could destroy some like James Comey, which would also damage the credibility of the Mueller investigation. Another target of the report is said to be FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe who had a HUGE conflict of interest that should have called for his recusing himself from the Clinton email probe, but instead, he chose to use the Clinton connection to help protect Hillary.
