For months, I’ve been writing that politicians who vote for and maintain sanctuary cities, counties and states, should be charged with crimes for their intentional defiance of federal immigration laws. They should be charged with being complicit for each illegal violating federal immigration laws as well as obstruction of justice for refusing to cooperate with federal immigration officials.

Finally, someone else is catching on to the idea as Acting ICE Director Thomas Homan said that the Justice Department should file charges against these sanctuary politicians and he also called for the withholding of federal funds from sanctuary locations.

(The Hill) – President Trump’s pick to run Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on Tuesday called for a crackdown on so-called sanctuary cities, saying politicians who help run them should be charged with crimes.

In an interview with Fox News’ Neil Cavuto, ICE Acting Director Thomas Homan said the Department of Justice needs “to file charges against the sanctuary cities” and “hold back their funding.”

Homan, who was announced in December as President Trump’s pick to permanently run the agency, went on to say that politicians enforcing sanctuary city policies need to be held “personally accountable.” …

Homan is saying what I’ve been advocating for many months. I’ve also advocated that sanctuary politicians also be held legally liable for any crime committed by an illegal their policies protect. Once these neo-com anti-American Democrats begin getting charged, arrested, tried, convicted and jailed for protecting illegal aliens and place American citizens in harm’s way, it will bring a quick end to sanctuary locations.
