Congressional investigators have been given emails that were sent to Donald Trump, Donald Trump Jr., Jr’s assistant and others in the Trump campaign offering an encryption key with which they could open WikiLeaks documents that promised to be harmful to Hillary Clinton and her campaign.
The media is reporting this as if the Trump campaign actively sought the information from WikiLeaks and then took full advantage of being sent the encryption key, but that does not seem to be the case and it doesn’t prove anything.
One has to ask if the same had been offered to Clinton and her campaign, if they would have taken advantage of it? They’ll say no, but then the Clinton campaign and the DNC did pay millions of the fake Trump dossier that was used against him in the later days of the campaign.
(New York Post) – Then-candidate Donald Trump and others in his company were offered access to hacked WikiLeaks documents during the 2016 presidential campaign, according to a new report.
Trump, his son Donald Trump Jr. and others at the Trump Organization received an email on Sept. 4, last year, that offered a decryption key and web address to view the documents, CNN reports.
The missive — which is now in the hands of congressional investigators — was sent two months after WikiLeaks published hacked emails from the Democratic National Committee, and a month before it began releasing emails swiped from Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta.
It also came less than three weeks before WikiLeaks and Trump Jr. began exchanging direct messages on Twitter, according to CNN.
Everyone still seems so focused on finding something to nail Trump with in order to remove him from office, and yet they seem oblivious to the mountains of evidence that have been piling up against Hillary Clinton, the Clinton Foundation, the Obama administration and the Democratic National Committee, all with highly questionable connections and deals with Russia and other wrong doing.
