Many centuries ago, the Jewish people were scattered throughout Europe and Asia. They were forced out of their land by their enemies. In 1948, the Jewish people fought back and regained their land and the nation that we know today as Israel was established. At the time, Jerusalem, the historic capital of the nation was at the end of still disputed land, so the leaders named Tel Aviv as a temporary capital only with future plans to re-establish Jerusalem as their capital.

In the 6-Day War in 1967, Israel captured more of their historic land including the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. This new acquisition placed Jerusalem solely within the lands of Israel and the nation.

What President Trump did in officially recognizing Jerusalem as the capital was not only the right thing to do, but the entire thing is being misrepresented by the mainstream media.

( – At 1pm Wednesday President Trump will change U.S. policy about the holy city of Jerusalem.  The presidential announcement will be that he is moving the U.S. Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem and he’s recognizing that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel.

The Jerusalem Post is reporting:

United States President Donald Trump spoke to Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas on Tuesday about “his intention” to move the US Embassy in Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, Abbas’s spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeinah said on Tuesday.

Russia recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s capital this past April.

Despite the fact that Russia was first, Israel’s neighboring Muslim nations are having a fit about the U.S. announcement…

Note that the mainstream media has been saying that America is the ONLY nation to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and yet Russia did earlier this year. Additionally, it is extremely doubtful that there will ever be peace in the area since Muslims consider Jews to be their mortal enemies and have for centuries and have vowed to wipe them off the earth.
