As Special Counsel Robert Mueller continues to move forward on his investigation of Russian election interference and his personal targeting of President Donald Trump, others in Congress are starting to look into the unethical and possibly illegal dealings of some members of the FBI and Department of Justice.

One of those individuals in FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe. There are growing concerns about McCabe’s extreme bias against President Donald Trump and it’s influence in some of his actions which are coming under scrutiny.

Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC), Chair of the House Oversight Committee, has indicated that McCabe may soon lose his job.

(Washington Examiner) – Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., suggested in an interview that FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe may soon lose his job as scrutiny over the agency intensifies.

McCabe is scheduled to testify Tuesday in front of the House Intelligence Committee on the subject of FBI agent Peter Strzok, who was removed from special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia inquiry team because of text messages that were critical of President Trump during the 2016 campaign.

“I’ll be a little bit surprised if he’s still an employee of the FBI this time next week,” Gowdy, a member of the House Judiciary Committee, said of McCabe in an interview Friday night with Fox News.

It should be noted that when McCabe’s wife ran for state office several years ago, she received around $750,000 in donations from donors who also donated to the Clinton campaign. That was happening while he was helping the FBI Director James Comey prepare an official statement exonerating Hillary Clinton from any wrong doing concerning her email scandal.
