President Donald Trump has been his own worst enemy during the first 11 months of his presidency and that’s because of his uncontrolled tweeting. Somehow, he feels bolder to say things on Twitter that he may not say in person and some of those tweets have been directed at the ongoing investigation. He has attacked the FBI and made numerous comments about individuals involved in the investigation.

Members of Congress from both sides of the aisle are warning Trump to stop tweeting about the Russia probe. He is being warned that his tweets that could back to bite him in the legal butt.

(Fox News) – Lawmakers from both sides of the aisle on Sunday warned President Trump to use caution before tweeting about the ongoing investigation into contacts between his campaign and Russia.

Sen. Lindsey Graham told CBS’ “Face the Nation” that the president could be wading into “peril” by tweeting on the Russia probe.

“I would just say this with the president: There’s an ongoing criminal investigation. You tweet and comment regarding ongoing criminal investigations at your own peril,” he said.

Trump has long maintained that his use of social media gives him the opportunity to bypass the media and speak directly to the country. He credits Twitter for — at least in part — helping him defeat Hillary Clinton…

It’s being revealed that others associated with Trump have authored many of his tweets, but with the damage many of Trump’s tweets have caused for him and the Republican Party. The best thing Trump could do is to drastically scale down his tweeting in general.
