Dan Switzen is a 44-year-old who directed the popular financial advice show, The Suze Orman Show, for 10 years. From there, he began directing CNBC’s Power Lunch program. His attorney describes him as a decent family man, but that description does not fit any longer.

His live-in 18-year-old nanny had a couple of friends over and when one was using the bathroom, they discovered a spy camera hidden in a tissue box. They took the box and camera to police, who found graphic and embarrassing images on the camera’s memory card.

He was arrested and charged, but released without bail pending his day in court. His attorney says he plans of defending his decent family man client.

(New York Daily News) – A CNBC director who worked on finance guru Suze Orman’s show has been accused of peeping on his teenage au pair with a spy-cam in a bathroom of his Westchester home, the Daily News has learned.

Dan Switzen, 44, hid a camera inside a tissue box in his home in Pleasantville, according to authorities.

On Nov. 13, his 18-year-old live-in nanny invited two of her friends, also 18, over to the house and one of them discovered the camera in the bathroom, sources said.

The horrified teens took the camera to Pleasantville police about 7:50 p.m. that night and cops found incriminating images on its memory card…

It’s no different than people who are brainwashed into believing in evolution and survival of the fittest grabbing a gun and killing those weaker around them (this is what happened at Columbine high school in 1999).
