If given the legal opportunity, California’s Democrats would ban all private ownership of all firearms. Only law enforcement and licensed security personnel would be allowed to own a firearm, and even then, would require them to keep their firearm unloaded and locked up at all times when not on duty.
Knowing they can’t ban all guns, they have steadily enacted more and more strict gun control laws that not only limit what kinds of guns anyone can own, but who can own them, how to store them and what political and legal hurdles they have to go through to obtain permission to own their guns and what issues will allow officials to confiscate their guns.
California citizens need to be aware that the latest round of strict gun control laws take effect next Monday, January 1, 2018.
(Keep and Bear) – On January 1, 2018, California’s Proposition 63 will go into full effect and the citizens of California, who are already some of the least free in the nation, will become even less free. (Here’s more proof that California hates freedom.)
- New laws for convicted criminals to turn over their firearms and tighter controls for internet ammunition sales.
- A clear, mandatory, and enforceable process for the relinquishment of firearms by prohibited criminal offenders. It provides by far the most detailed, comprehensive, and enforceable state law anywhere in the country to proactively ensure that prohibited criminal offenders comply with existing law and relinquish their firearms after conviction.
- Defendants convicted of firearm-prohibiting crimes, such as felonies, or misdemeanors involving violence, domestic abuse, or illegal weapon use, must provide proof that they sold or transferred their firearms within specified time periods after conviction…
I know several people that were life long residents of California, who have opted to move to other states that are more gun friendly, more industry friendly, more taxpayer friendly and not run by anti-American, anti-Constitution, anti-gun and anti-Christian Democrats. Some moved to Texas and a couple others moved to Arizona, found new jobs and claim to be a lot happier with less stress.
