Trump Tweets ‘Chuck and Nancy’ Want Flood of Illegal Immigrants

Yesterday, President Donald Trump was scheduled to meet with Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) in hopes of being able to work out a deal to keep the government running and probably push for some support for the Republican tax reform measure that will be voted on this week in the Senate.

However, he most likely killed any chance of working anything out with them when he slammed both neo-com Democratic leaders on Twitter prior to the meeting. In his tweet, Trump said that because of their desire to flood the country with unchecked illegal immigrants and that they are weak on crime and desire to raise taxes, that he doubted there would be any kind of a deal.

(Washington Free Beacon) – President Donald Trump tweeted Tuesday that “Chuck and Nancy”–referring to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D., N.Y.) and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.)–want illegal immigrants to flood into the United States.

“Meeting with ‘Chuck and Nancy’ today about keeping government open and working. Problem is they want illegal immigrants flooding into our Country unchecked, are weak on Crime and want to substantially RAISE Taxes. I don’t see a deal!,” Trump tweeted.

Trump is meeting with Pelosi and Schumer on Tuesday about extending government funding past the Dec. 8 deadline. Aside from funding the government, they are expected to discuss additional issues, to include immigration. Democrats and some Republicans want a deal on the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) immigration amnesty program that has provided legal protections to “dreamers,” undocumented immigrants who were brought into the United States as children. Trump, in turn, wants funding for a border wall…

At times like this, Trump is his own worst enemy by taking to Twitter so often to blast those he needs to be trying to work with. Trump’s tweets have been losing him friends and increasing the number of his enemies. If only White House Chief of Staff John Kelly would use his military experience somehow and take control of Trump’s Twitter account, it would do wonders to help his presidency accomplish some of his goals.
