Susan Sarandon is a well-known actress who has been in the film industry since 1970. She has won numerous awards, including an Academy Award for her role in Atlantic City. She also starred in other films including Thelma & Louise, The Client, Dead Man Walking and Lorenzo’s Oil.

The 71-year-old actress is also well-known for her political liberalism and progressive views. She has been very outspoken and critical of Republicans and virtually ever conservative in America. She’s been rewarded with some awards and recognition for her political activism, which is why it was so surprising to see her most recent condemnation of Hillary Clinton and the current feminist fad sweeping the nation.

Actress Susan Sarandon says she’s become incredibly unpopular, but she’s not blaming conservatives, who have in the past spoken out against her visible far-left politics — she’s blaming liberals.

The 71-year-old actress told the Guardian on Sunday that she’s suffering a wave of attacks because during the 2016 presidential election she chose not to back Hillary Clinton and instead backed the third party candidate, Jill Stein.

“I’m not attacked from the right at all,” Sarandon told the U.K.’s left-leaning publication. Instead, she says, “she is accused of not checking her white privilege, of throwing away her vote on a third-party candidate during the U.S. presidential election, and of recklessly espousing a political cause that let Trump in through the backdoor.” …

During the interview, Sarandon described feminists as ‘being a load of strident bitches’, who tend to alienate many. She prefers to think of herself not as a feminist but as a humanitarian, which basically means that she is still a flaming liberal progressive but just doesn’t to be identified with many others who get the negative attention.
