Harvey Weinstein and his brother founded a major movie studio, which made the brothers millions of dollars. Over the years, Harvey has donated over $1 million towards the campaigns of many Democrats, including thousands of dollars towards Hillary’s campaign last year.
After so many allegations of rape, sexual assault, groping and sexual predation has surfaced in the past few days, many of the same Democrats that were happy to take his money are suddenly doing their best to separate themselves for Weinstein, including Hillary Clinton.
Clinton did a recent interview on CNN where she condemned Weinstein, bringing a stinging rebuff from celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain, who is dating Asia Argento, one of Weinstein’s victims.
Celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain bashed Hillary Clinton on Twitter Wednesday calling her interview on CNN about Harvey Weinstein “uninspiring,” “shameful” and “disingenuous.”
The “Parts Unknown” host is dating actress Asia Argento, one of the women who came forward and accused Weinstein of raping her. Bourdain tweeted his praise and support of his girlfriend on Tuesday, stating he was “proud and honored to know you.”
Clinton appeared on Fareed Zakaria’s CNN show Wednesday and addressed the Weinstein’s allegations. Weinstein has contributed hundreds of thousands of dollars to the Clinton Foundation and contributed $46,350 to her 2016 presidential campaign…
Many have said that Weinstein’s sexual misconduct has been well known for years, but no Democrat, including Hillary rejected his donations to their campaigns until AFTER the news went public, causing a huge scandal. That’s not the only hypocrisy on the part of Clinton. She vehemently defended her husband’s actions for his sexual escapades in the Oval Office with Monica Lewinski. She was also quick to condemn Donald Trump las year when unfounded and unproven allegations were made against him, but it took her five days to comment about a donor to her campaign.
