On August 12, a group of white supremacists, including members of the KKK and neo-Nazis were holding a peaceful rally in Charlottesville. A group of black activists, many of which are associated with the radical group Antifa, showed up and started violently attacking the white supremacists. The media and Democrats went wild, blaming the white supremacist for the hour long violence that rocked the city. When President Donald Trump stated that both sides should the blame, he condemned by virtually everyone, including many Republicans. He was a called a white supremacist for daring to lay part of the blame on those who actually started the violence.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not defending white supremacist groups as I firmly believe that we are all the same race – the human race and that we share common ancestors in Adam/Eve and Noah and his three sons.
Now, one black activist who was injured in the melee and who was responsible for getting charges filed against the white supremacist who attacked, is now being charged for the same crime and he isn’t happy about it.
A black man brutally beaten at a white nationalist rally in Charlottesville is now facing a felony charge related to the August attack.
A local magistrate on Monday issued an arrest warrant for DeAndre Harris on an unlawful wounding charge after an accuser, whom police did not identify, claimed to have been injured by the 20-year-old during the brawl, authorities told local media.
- Lee Merritt, a civil attorney for Harris, told The Washington Post the charge was “clearly retaliatory” and described the accuser as a member of a white supremacist group. He maintained that Harris did not instigate the fight.
“We find it highly offensive and upsetting, but what’s more jarring is that he’s been charged with the same crime as the men who attacked him,” he said…
Even since Obama illegally took residence in the White House, many black activists have acted just like Obama in thinking that they are above the law and can do anything they want to anyone they want who is white, without having to face any consequences for their actions. This seems to be especially true with Antifa, who was part of the group that started the violence in Charlottesville.
