When the NCAA and NBA got involved with the bathroom issue to allow transgenders to use the bathroom of their choice, sports fans reacted negatively. It seems the majority of sports fans are more conservative than both the NCAA and NBA realized they were.
Hopefully, fans of the Women’s National Basketball Association Seattle Storm are just as conservative as the NCAA and NBA fans were. The team announced that for the Tuesday night game, $5 of every ticket sold would go to Planned Parenthood.
It seems that the baby murdering company is scrambling for ways to secure funding in anticipation of losing their $500 million annual federal funding.
Mark Harrington, National Director of Created Equal hopes that the scheme of the Seattle Storm backfires on the team and that knowing part of the ticket fee will be going to Planned Parenthood, fans will intentionally stay away and leave the basketball arena empty. He commented about the promotion, saying:
“The timing of this partnership with the Seattle Storm makes sense for Planned Parenthood. They see the access to taxpayer money may be coming to an end soon, so they’re trying to open up and find new streams of funding and corporate partnerships if they lose federal funding for their organization.”
“We want to get ahead of this. We want to cut it off at the pass and let teams like the Seattle Storm know that if they’re going to fund Planned Parenthood there’s going to be a price for them to do that.”
Created Equal was planning on protesting outside the arena to let fans know that part of their ticket fee is going to fund the wanton slaughter of innocent unborn children.
Harrington has long history of fighting to save the lives of innocent babies. He spent time working with the Rescue Movement before spending more than 10-years with Genocide Awareness Project for the Center for Bio-Ethical Reform, before co-founding Created Equal along with Seth Drayer in 2011.
Harrington hopes to inspire and help train a generation of young apologists who also know the value of life. On Created Equal’s website, it says that just prior to launching the organization, Harrington said:
“If, at the end of my life, I do not see a long line of young apologists I have equipped behind me, I will have failed.”
In speaking about the Seattle Storm and Planned Parenthood promotion, Harrington says he not only hopes fans leave the arena empty that night, but every night. He hopes that once fans learn of the partnership with Planned Parenthood, that fans will stop being fans and the fan base for the team dries up.
However, I doubt that will happen. After all, this is taking place in Seattle, once of the most liberal cities in the entire United States. The city is run by liberal anti-American, anti-family, anti-Second Amendment, and anti-everything decent, Democrats. The city has long supported anti-family LGBT rights and activists. This is also the first city in the United States to raise the minimum wage to $15 per hour, only to see a loss of over 5,000 jobs and numerous businesses. Seattle is just liberal enough to make the WNBA team’s Planned Parenthood promotion a success.
