Texas’s Great Response to California Travel Ban

California declared they are banning state employees from traveling to four states due to their anti-LGBT laws. One of those states is Texas, Gov. Greg Abbott never backed down from anyone when he was Texas Attorney General and he’s not backing down now as Governor. His press secretary shared Abbott’s response to California, putting the liberal state in their place.

On Thursday, California Atty. Gen. Xavier Becerra said Texas and three other states were being put on a list of states that had adopted laws seen by Becerra as discriminatory to the LGBT community and therefore were off-limits for state-sponsored travel.

That drew a response Friday from John Wittman, Abbott’s press secretary.

“California may be able to stop their state employees, but they can’t stop all the businesses that are fleeing over taxation and regulation and relocating to Texas,” Wittman said…

I’m sure that Texas will benefit far more financially from all of the businesses that have been relocating from California to Texas as a result of all of the liberal Democrat rules, regulations and taxes, including the nation’s only state cap and trade law. Texas is a state that values the US Constitution and American citizens, whereas California openly defies the US Constitution and places illegal aliens over American citizens.
