Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke at an economic forum in St. Petersburg where he told forum moderator Megyn Kelly that allegation of Russian intervention in America’s 2016 election is hysteria on the part of Democrats who lost. He equated Hillary’s blaming everyone else for her loss to blaming Jews for anti-Semitism. He also said that the fault for Hillary’s loss lies squarely at her own feet.
Russian President Vladimir Putin turned the tables on claims the Kremlin meddled in the U.S. presidential election, with a feisty Putin on Friday accusing American spies of “crude and systematic” widespread interference in Russian affairs.
Putin, speaking at an economic forum in St. Petersburg moderated by NBC’s Megyn Kelly, said the probe into Russia’s alleged attempts to influence the election via collusion with President Trump’s campaign team was merely “hysteria,” Reuters reported. He even tried to calm an inquisitive Kelly by asking: “Isn’t there a pill they can give you?”

When asked about the Russian ambassador meeting with US officials, Putin said that’s what they pay him to do and then asked if he was just supposed to go out and hit the bars. Considering the relationship between Putin and Trump is not all rosy like everyone thought, it would only make sense for Putin to brag about Russian control of the US election but he hasn’t.
