Commerce Sec. Says US Only Nation Making Economic Sacrifice with Paris Climate Deal

President Donald Trump announced that the US was withdrawing from the Paris Climate Change Deal. Liberals world over are upset. They need to realize that just because everyone else is doing it doesn’t mean it’s the right thing for America. Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) said the climate deal was a disaster for US jobs. Now, Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross says that the US was the only nation forced to make an economic sacrifice in the climate deal.

“Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross joined Neil Cavuto on “Your World” to react to President Donald Trump pulling the U.S. out of the Paris Climate Accord.

Ross said that the pact, which aims to reduce fossil fuel emissions, is not about combating climate change, but instead about transferring wealth from the U.S. to other countries.

He said he expects that the global community will be upset with the U.S. withdrawing from the agreement…

Remember when you were a kid and you wanted to do something and told you parents that everyone else was doing it? What was their response? Just because everyone decides to jump off a bridge doesn’t mean you should jump also. That’s the same response that should be given for the Paris Climate Change deal. It was a lose-lose situation for America and Trump had the guts to realize it and stop our part in it.
