City Misses the Cause During Summit on Reducing Violent Crime

Many cities in the United States have been experiencing increases in violent crimes over the past eight years. Is it coincidental that this was the same period of Barack Obama’s reign in the White House and his war on law enforcement?

After the media circus reporting the deaths of Michael Brown, Freddie Gray and Trayvon Martin, both Barack Obama and then Attorney General Eric Holder openly blamed law enforcement officers. They blamed police for being racist and intentionally targeting black Americans. Never once did either black politician admit that in all three cases, the black victims were killed because they disobeyed the orders of police or security guards and all three resisted arrest. Had they complied with police and security and not resisted arrest, all three would still be alive, but that didn’t matter to Obama, Holder or thousands of black activists. With the condemnation of police by the White House and the Department of Justice, many black activists grew bolder and took to more violence.

Whether a result of black activism by the Obama administration or not, St. Louis, Missouri has seen its fair share of crime. St. Louis is predominately black, but not entirely, and it has been experiencing an increase in violent crimes in their area for the past few years.

Last Saturday, civic leaders held a summit on crime prevention and what do about the violent crimes in their area. St. Louis Mayor Lyda Krewson commented about the summit, saying:

“I think everyone is very concerned about the recent violence and violence that occurs throughout the year. Not just the last two weeks, this is the purpose of this summit we have to care about every single victim.”

State Sen. Jamilah Nasheed added:

“What we can do as a collective within our community to reduce violence and to begin to have a very serious talk on how we reduce crime in the City of St. Louis.”

The only conclusions of the summit that were reported blamed guns and a need to educate children about making better choices other than choosing violence.

Allow me to postulate that guns have nothing to do with the high rate of violent crimes. Consider that Chicago, Baltimore, Washington DC, New York City and Los Angeles all have higher than average rates of violent crimes and all have strict gun control laws. They also have several other things in common – liberal Democrats control the cities. Democrats who fully supported Obama and many of his anti-American policies; and they also have large minority populations; and they all have liberally run public schools.

There is one other factor that is a huge contributor to the increase of violent crimes in St. Louis and many other American cities. It’s a Godless public-school system that teaches kids that God does not exist and they are the rulers of their own lives. They are taught that they have no supreme being to which they are accountable to. They are taught the principles of Godless evolution, humanism, atheism and socialism. They are taught that they are just another animal that lives by survival of the fittest, which easily equates to the strongest and most violent.

If you want, take a look at the violent crime rates in the United States from the mid-1960s to now and you will see a surprising increase in most violent crime rates. It was the mid-1960s when the Supreme Court bowed to the whining of a few atheists and kicked God and the Bible out of public-schools and many aspects of public life. If you doubt me, check it out for yourself.

Yet, most politicians and civic leaders fail (or refuse) to recognize the correlation between a Godless society and an increase in violent crimes. Once Christianity was removed from schools, something had to fill the void and that something was evolution humanism, atheism and socialism. The proof can be seen by the way the younger voters responded to Donald Trump winning the presidency.

Until the correlation between the elimination of God and Christianity and the increase in violent crimes is acknowledged, nothing will successfully change the trend.
