In an unforgivable act of stupidity and disgust, famed CBS Evening News anchor Scott Pelley basically suggested to viewers that Republicans in Congress are partially to blame for the shooting that took place where Rep. Scalise. He also said it was foreseeable and predictable and that such attacks on GOP lawmakers are somewhat self-inflicted.

Thursday evening, CBS’s Scott Pelley, who officially ended his tenure as the network’s Evening News anchor the following evening, told viewers that “It’s time to ask whether the attack on the United States Congress Wednesday was foreseeable, predictable and, to some degree, self-inflicted.”

It’s clear from Pelley’s subsequent commentary that his answers to all three elements are “Yes.” It’s equally clear from the examples he supplied as support that he sees (or wants viewers to see) the problem as predominantly about the conduct of those on the right.

Pelley’s questions were extremely in poor taste and revealed just how much of a far-left flaming liberal he really is. It also explains much of his reporting over the past few years as he has been extremely critical against Republicans while championing Democrats and excusing their many crimes (Obama and Clinton). He may have stepped down from his anchor position, but if CBS has any sense of decency that they should fire Pelley and kick him off the air completely.
