They wanted Comey gone and when Trump did it, they condemned him for it. Now sources claim that Trump referred to Comey as a nut job and that firing him relieved a lot of stress. True or not, that only compounds the controversy.

Trump would be in a lot less controversy if he would learn to bridle his tongue. Obviously, discretion is not one of the traits necessary for a president, that he lacks. He tends to speak first without thinking of the consequences. One would hope that those close to him like his daughter Ivanka would work to temper his mouth.
