Manchester Police Identify Bomber

A rock concert in Manchester, England was the site of a terrorist attack that killed at least 22 and injured 59 others. Police have identified the alleged bomber as Salman Abedi, a 22-year-old man born in Manchester. His parents were from Libya. At this time, police are not sure of Abedi blew himself up with the bomb at the concert or if he is still at large.

Salman Abedi has been named by police as the suspected suicide bomber who killed 22 people and injured 59 at Manchester Arena on Monday night.

The 22-year-old was born in Manchester to parents of Libyan descent, the BBC understands.

Three of his victims have been named – Saffie Rose Roussos, eight, Georgina Callander and John Atkinson, 28.
