ASUS Announces World’s Thinnest High-End Convertible Computer

Computer enthusiasts may be excited about the announcement made at the Computex Taipei trade show. ASUS revealed their new ZenBook Flip S (Model UX370UA). They are calling it the thinnest 2-in-1 convertible computer in the world. As thin as this new convertible is, it is packed with a lot of powerful hardware to make it sought after by many enthusiasts and business professionals.

Computex Taipei, a long-running trade show that’s typically rife with bleeding-edge PC technology, is about begin. To kick off the “Day 0” festivities, ASUS announced a bevy of new systems and mobile devices, including the upcoming ZenBook Flip S (model UX370UA), which is being touted as the world’s thinnest 2-in-1 convertible.

Despite its diminutive design, the ASUS ZenBook Flip S is packing some serious hardware. Multiple models will be available, featuring Intel “Kaby Lake” based processors. A Core i7-7500U resides at the high-end, while a Core i5-7200U will power a more affordable option. Paired to the processor is either 8GB or 16GB of 2133MHz memory, and storage duties are handled by 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of solid state storage, though only the top-end 1TB option leverages NVMe – the smaller drives use the slower SATA interface…

The new ASUS ZenBook Flip S is perfect in size and capability for traveling business professionals and college students. Lightweight, sleek, ritzy looking design should make this new ZenBook Flip S a highly sought after convertible. It didn’t say when it would be available in the US, but should be coming soon.
