After the US launched an attack against a Syrian airfield, Russia has joined forces with Iran in condemning the airstrike and issuing a military threat against the United States.
President Trump’s move to strike a Syrian airfield this week has sent a thundercloud of confusion and concern rumbling over the heads of those who disdain us on the world stage.
The airstrike came as Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, with possible Russian accomplices, used banned and immoral chemical weapons in an attack against civilians in Syria. The move, designed to incapacitate the airfield from which this dastardly attack occurred, had the added effect of angering the Russians into throwing an international temper tantrum. This, in turn, riled up Iran, and now both nations are ready and willing to attack America, should the U.S. again use military force against the monster Assad.
“A statement issued on Sunday by a joint command centre consisting of forces of Russian, Iran and allied militia alliance supporting Syrian President Bashar al Assad said that Friday’s US strike on the Syrian air base crossed ‘red lines’ and it would ‘respond with force’ to any new aggression while increasing their level of support to their ally.
“In the statement published by the group on media outlet Ilam al Harbi, the pro-Assad alliances says that ‘what America waged in an aggression on Syria is a crossing of red lines. From now on we will respond with force to any aggressor or any breach of red lines from whoever it is and America knows our ability to respond well.’
