Alabama Governor Facing Impeachment

Sex scandals, aside from greed, seem to be one of the highest types of scandals among politicians and celebrities.

Saturday, Alabama Supreme Court gave the green light to move forward with the process of attempting to impeach Governor Robert Bentley.

Monday morning, the 74-year-old will face impeachment hearings for a sex scandal that began in 2016, when recording surfaced that featured Bentley making suggestive comments to a female aide. This was BEFORE he and his wife of 50 years separated.

Fox News reports:

Bentley vowed to stay in office despite calls for his resignation. He stood on the state Capitol steps on Friday and acknowledged making personal mistakes but maintained he did nothing to merit his removal from office.
